I really enjoyed this! I didnt have any expectations going in, but it was funny and lighthearted whilst also having more serious/important themes.
The characters were great, and whilst Nadia was frustrating at times she was an interesting and loveable character. Sara was also a great character who I really felt for, and I loved the dynamic between the two.

It was very eye opening in terms of the realities of UN Agencies and the bureaucracy, as well as the saviour complex that some of their workers may have

This fictionalized account of a UN program to deradicalize ISIS women in Iraq is at times absurd, in others heartwrenching and humorous. It had some elements of Catch-22 that is prevalent in bureaucracy and a female protagonist as flawed as the women she’s trying to help.
