Okay I vaguely remembered the story of Sense & Sensibility but I somehow forgot how good it actually is?? Like I think it just gets overshadowed by Pride & Prejudice but that is a crime because this book has soooo much going for it. I. Love. These. Characters. I was so invested in their stories. Again, one of my favorite parts of reading an Austen book is her use of subtle humor. It’s like, blink and you miss it. It’s laced in the way she describes a facial expression or a thought or even the setup of a room. I was giggling to myself at multiple points. I will definitely be adding this into the rotation of books I come back to.
