Tell me why I cried more when Beth gave the shoes to Mr Laurence than when she
died

This is such a comforting book and you grow to love the characters so much. By the end of the book, I felt like I had personally known all of characters and the book felt like it was just a discussion of memories.

As someone who has not had much luck with any other classics, I was so surprised when I really enjoyed this one.

It's very long, but I feel like it is rightfully so. You grow to become attached, and familiar with the environment. Towards the end, near the middle it felt very slow and never-ending but I was so happy when it picked up again. You become comfortable with the character's and way of life. <potential spoiler> At the end, it felt like I was doing the same as the March sisters... moving on with my own life. </potential spoiler>.

i don’t read classics as often. i find them harder to read, so to get into classics, i tried to reread one of my favorite classics— and it still stands out.

little women is filled with comfort characters with diverse personalities. i got attached to most of the characters which barely happens.

people might get overwhelmed by the length of this book— and i totally get that. my copy has 507 pages as my average pages last year were around 350 pages. reading little women was definitely a huge move, but worth it.

if you’re trying to get into classics, i highly recommend reading little women.

This was such a comforting, heart-warming and charming book. I really enjoyed reading Little Women, but I prefer the first part to the second part. It was great to see how all the March sisters chose their own paths in life and found their own happiness.
