I listened to this book on audible because it was in the plus catalogue and looked interesting, honestly I think it gave me anxiety because it was friends wedding stuff and work and balancing relationships, and wow thats exactly the stage of life I am in right now. But this was a fun little read and I do not regret reading it at all. I thought it was an easy read, just kind of wordy and long at parts.

The narration made this book! It was great romance with some good life lessons sprinkled in. Lessons in priorities, work-life balance, and finding room for joy!

Why is it that lately all this books gear towards you don't have a life unless you have a man. Or you need to have a relationship in order to be complete.

Good grief this book was annoying.

Nicole's best friend told her she needs to get her priorities straight but so does she. She accused her of letting her job control her life when Perisa's entire family controlled hers.

Crazy. It amazes me when people tell you just to quit your job but don't look into how you are going to pay your bills after you quit said job. Unemployment doesn't last forever.

I'm all about finding a loving relationship and all but love don't pay the bills. Lastly, if you give up everything you hold dear for a person then you will lose who you are.

Nicole do indeed need to relax a little but good grief - turning your life upside down. NO However she did say that her life didn't feel like her own. That is a good reason to find out who you are before getting into a deep relationship and becoming a couple when you don't know who you are.

Ok I am rambling now my bad.

In the end it all worked out. :)

Seriously lastly, I really did love the story though it got on my nerves a little.
