This book made me so mad. The fact that everyone was ok for most of the book with the abusive corporate culture portrayed AND the abusive family dynamics made me physically anxious. Romances shouldn't create that level of anxiety. The romance was also not good, as I'm never a fan of insta-love, and the love interest was primarily described as a bicep. I did make it all the way to the end with a lot of speed reading, but can't say it was worth it.

Gave it a try and I was oddly fascinated over some people’s live to work mentally because that’s never been mine. Lol
But I hate fade to black sex scenes!
