super cute. easyyyy read.

Thank you Amazon First Reads!! I was super excited to get access to the book. I loved How to Hack a Heartbreak. And when I found about this books, It was a must read. This was so cute, and I think I maybe my new favorite. My one issues was that I did feel like there was a lot of filler pages that dragged a bit. But other than some slow moving parts, this was absolutely adorable and I can't wait to get my hands on a hard copy cause I also just love that cover!

This book was okay, nothing special.

Here's one of those books that I got for free as an Amazon Prime member.

Honestly, I didn't care very much for Nicole. I mainly wanted to smack her upside the head. She's a workaholic for no good reason; after all, she's not in a noble profession making the world better. She doesn't even know why she wants a promotion, except that it's what she should do. I feel like a go-getter like her should be a little more assertive and knowledgeable about what she's getting. I can sympathize with sight of the forest for the trees, but truly her epiphany should have come sooner.

Enjoyable enough and well-written enough, but not something I'd recommend or reach for again.

2.5 ⭐️ rounded up. There was so much that I loved about this book- the romance between Nicole and Brandon, Nicole’s relationship with her best friend Parisa, the light the author shed on mental health, and the ending. But there were also lots of things I didn’t enjoy- it was a little wordy/detailed (especially the bachelorette party
