I just absolutely devoured this in less than 12 hours! This was exactly what my mood reading self was looking for! Once I picked it up, I could not put it down. The chemistry between the main characters seemed so genuine to me and I love what a good man he is. 👩🏻‍🍳🤌🏻💋

I was excited to read Archer's story and while the actual writing was well done, I really hated the way he used the same terms of endearment for Serenity and Tyra. I was not a fan of Tyra's story line AT ALL. I knew she was going to eventually show back up, but the whole situation of her being traumatized and Archer having to take care of her even though they broke up before everything happened was so frustrating. Honestly, if I was with a man who came across as not being over an ex and then she shows back up and he's sleeping in her bed and calling her all the pet names he used for me, I would have peaced out forever. I did not like how all of that was mostly glossed over. Archer did nowhere near enough groveling and apologizing in my opinion. If I were Serenity, I would punch his balls every time he called me "darling" after saying it to his ex when she showed back up.
