A very well written young adult novel. It toon my a little bit to get into it but I ce the main characters started working together it picked up. Effy is very traumatized and it can be a lot but it does feel realistic. I think she grows but it takes awhile for her to get there. The end was wrapped up all tidy. Idk if I will read sequel. Good read to start off spooky season.
