An interesting vampire post-apocalyptic story where a comet hitting earth seven years ago creates permanent darkness and winter via the impact on the atmosphere; a "30 Days of Night" effect but on the entire planet for a prolonged period. A cool idea and setting to explore.
Strong production value with a full cast and immersive sound effects.
Fun story and fun characters, though not terribly developed, innovative or novel. Interesting ideas about different types of vampires, though those also aren't new as vampires have always been a reflection of class and social heirarchy.

This was available free with Audible. I enjoyed the story line and would like to know what Darcy does in the future. It was a quick listen and I would have like to know more about their life and the compound.

This started off interesting. The audioplay is certainly evocative. But I had expected horror, genuinely beastial vampires, with a twist. Instead the story quickly took a turn for the conventional. The vampire lore was stale and uninspired. It served the story fine, but the story itself was also not something I felt invested in.
Dnf about 80% into the audiobook.
