“Pinch me, please. Is any of this real?" Rachel whispered as she looked into Nick's eyes.
"This place is very real. You're the dream," Nick answered as he kissed her deeply.”

This book was like watching a Chinese drama in the best way possible! It's a lot of fun, but also manages to have some heart, which I really appreciate. The characters are all unique from each other, and manage to be really interesting. I found the family dynamics to be enthralling. The locations were absolutely gorgeous. And I just had a great time reading this book!

This is not my usual read but I was waiting for another book. It's way to soapy for me but half way through I decided that I was going to finish it. He's a good writer and it is very easy to read. The story, although interesting to learn about rich Asians, is quite predictable. I will not be reading the series but it was still fun.

DID NOT FINISH: 19%

The layout and writing just doesn't work for me. There are so many perspectives to keep track of (at least one didn't feel relevant to the story). Plus there are a whole bunch of Asian slang and terms to keep track of (which for the record, I really appreciate the author not compromising that). I'm sure the story is great as I do love the movie, but the book just isn't working for me.

It was such a fun read. I fell in love with the characters it's just a great book over all I would recommend it to everyone.
