I'm beyond excited this got picked up by an English publisher. It's been one of my favorite series for a while, and I've been collecting the Japanese volumes, so it's kind of surreal to have the English edition in my hands. I love just about everything about this series from the characters (Gaku is so adorably unhinged, I love it, he's got such chaotic energy) to the setting (yay, university not high school!) and how the story develops. The romance is neither too fast nor too slow, and while Hibari might be a tad frustrating in how she goes back and forth so much, I think it's true to her character that she's just unsure of herself and needs a little push to get that burst of confidence, which reflects the experience of someone in their early twenties. I also love Gaku's bandmates and how they roll their eyes at Gaku's antics while also showing their loyalty and support for him. This series is leagues ahead of Living Room Matsunaga-san, and I can't wait to keep getting more into the story.

I love the main pair already! Hibari is very tightly wound and Gaku is basically her manic pixie dream boy who breaks her out of her shell. I like how quick the development between them is and I hope the next volume keeps the momentum going! The art is also beautiful of course, I’m a sucker for the way Keiko Iwashita draws her characters with so much detail and the occasional comedy panels are hilarious. The cameo from Matsunaga at the end was also appreciated.

Squee -so good Hibari needs to get outof her safe space and reach her full potential Gaku is a bit impulsive and laisse-faire but he gives her room to stretch. They compliment eachother well. He likes her and tells her and pushes a bit but not too much and she allows herself to start liking him back.

OMGGG IT WAS SAUR GEWDDD. well it was a little bit fast-paced for my liking and i don't usually like insta love stories but i love it anyway cuz i love the dynamics between the main characters. she's the type of girl who always holding back but will still explode if things get too much and i love that for her, as for the main guy he's really funny and always doing things in his own way. can be a little pushover too and doesn't know the concept of personal space djkfjd anYWAYYYY this one looks promising and the art style is really good i can't wait for more chapters
