I loved the slow reveal of the inner world of our main characters, and the tie-in to other G.C. Books. Even when characters are jerks, you end up rooting for them all!

this was definitely the best way to end this series. it felt like a perfect counterpart to the first book, the same soft feel-good storytelling of people being nice and warm to each other.

these always feel like coming home.

This is probably my favorite book that I've read. It is absolutely perfect for me and I'm attempting to rate it a 5.75 but it'll probably just record it as a 5. This is a great character study. The setting lends itself to the most in depth and insightful interspecies conversations. This is a group of aliens I long to be
standed
with for sure. I love the way Becky Chambers tackles philosophical questions through these delightful hopeful space tales. Very reminiscent of Star Trek but not all human centered and I find that extremely refreshing.
