Great, as always
I love Gail Carriger books, whether full size or shorter. I liked learning this story from an ancillary pack member’s perspective. I’m not LGBTQ, but that doesn’t matter, it’s 2018 (get over it) and still relatable to straight cis folks.
I do miss Alexia and Sophronia though. I need more Sophronia and Soap!!

Fab!
I will never get tired of the wonderful worlds this woman creates. Truly a joy to read, always! Can’t wait for the next.

A bit less development on the relationship, and perhaps the dwelling on personality flaws gets a bit like whining at times. Overall, two flawed people find something special, plenty of conflict, and then the expected resolution--with some magic along the way.
An excellent sequel to a great first book. I also very much enjoyed seeing the MCs from the first book in this one. Both Isaac and Tank are amazing, together they are even better. Isaac makes me smile while, at times, Tank breaks my heart. I love how these books are written, with a non-standard pack while still sticking to most werewolf lore. I can't wait for the next book in this series, which the author kindly spoiled so we know its title and who will be the MCs.
Didn’t make it past the first chapter. The writer’s characterisation of a bond between two Black men formed because they were Black as “weird” told me everything I needed to know. Even a cursory Web search would have given the writer a simple explanation of the basis of such bonds. But why research what you don’t understand when you can just write?
Fun, quirky, and a little predictable, but in a comfortable way.

[3.5 Stars] Another fun installment in the San Andreas Shifters series. I love Isaac and Tank. I think they're really sweet. On the whole, I liked reading about their developing romance more than I did Bryan and Max which is why this gets a higher rating. I also think there was less sex and less "muchness" that the first book was drenched in. I loved reading about the pack dynamics too. I'm excited for the third one since Colin, AHH.
