Fun look at the variety of best sellers that have been written over the past 100 years. The styles, trends and general layout and of the history is very enjoyable.

I was hoping for this to be an interesting read that delved into the psychology and history of what provokes us to read what we read. Instead, it was a list. A long list of books that rotated on and off bestseller lists. A list dryly presented and ending with a line indicative of the rest of this book, "Bestsellers can tell us something about our popular culture life."
