A wonderful book! It's quietly powerful, both in the story and in development. Highly recommend.

Thanks to my friend Carlin for sending me this thought-provoking book to read during my recovery. It really is lovely.

A book with a protagonist who is a scientist about rural Canada . . . It really seemed like it was going to be about orphans, and instead it's about what adulthood is. And there's an awesome little sister character in it.
