I may have read this book at too late a time in my life. It felt a little too young for me, even though one of my favorite genre's is Young Adult. It was still very cute.

I hated this book. The MC seemed weak and whiny. The ending was awful. And the book itself seemed to drag. It could have been because I listed via Audible and the narrator wasn't up to par, but I'm not even inclined to give it another shot. I don't ever DNF a book and I didn't with this one, but I wanted to. Every second I was listening to it.

I don’t know how, but I am always coming back to find books that need with a high school couple coming back together and ONE OF THEM DIES. Poppy is so precious and adorable and real. Rune is interesting but gives me Shinjiro Aragaki (from Persona 3) vines. Trust me. The bonus content, I couldn’t even read it—finding out that they both die really left me upset and shocked. I would have loved to see the cherry blossoms in the park tbh.
