I loved Nocticadia and Anathema so I was excited for this book. Unfortunately, I can't read any further.
The dialogue is awkward and unnatural, and the relationships feel the same.
I reached the point where I found the FMC 's annoying and I was starting to skim to read. I kind of want to see if my theories are right, but I don't care enough to read anymore.
Shame.

I will never get these 660 pages of my life back. The first 200 pages or so held promise, and then I was too invested to turn back when things started getting dumb. Glad I finished it, but also not glad that I spent three days slogging through it.
