adventurous funny lighthearted medium-paced
Loveable characters: Yes

This series only went downhill. The only thing it had going for it was the fact that I had a small attachment to the characters. The plot was weak throughout every single book but the first. This entire book was basically unnecessary, about 200 pages of fluff for 50 pages of actual plot.

The idea of the series was fine, it would have been better served as a duology or trilogy, rather than 5 really short books. The plot could have been a little deeper and more involved as well.

Overall, this wasn't a bad series, but certainly not a good series. The world is interesting, and the characters are likable-Jasper is my favorite! I think this is definitely better suited for a much younger audience. If you're any older than 15 or 16, I'd suggest skipping this series.

Even tho it was a little cliche and I dont really like that they didn’t think much about the morality of Aaron inhabiting Alex’s body I love these books a lot and they mean a lot to me

Finished while listening to Lust For Life album Song: Heroin

Excellent ending to the series. Parts of it totally surprised me.

The final installment of the Magisterium brings the group to face off with Alex, who has returned from the dead as a chaos Devourer, something no one has ever heard of. Rumor has it that only four Devourers representing each of the four other elements of magic are the only ones who can stop a chaos Devourer. Will the friends succeed?

OK but where's the serie about their adventures in Collegium?

To be honest, I like how the ending wrapped up.

I like how the lgbt+ characters didn't feel forced even if I wish some of them hadn't been quite so much of a background to the story.

I have a lot of questions about Warren and if Rufus was that upset about him escaping why he didn't care after that chapter... why was Warren even locked up... ? Whatever.

I liked the a message was about treating people better. I think the actual true evil villain or whatever who cropped up at the end didn't make any sense at all. If this guy was the one who made Constantine so evil, when did he actually possess him? Because Constantine was already killing his brother at that point ON purpose. But they say he wanted to bring him back because he felt grief and loss for an experiment taken too far... but did he? Did he really? And what happened to the big bad evil guy after he took Constantine's soul? Where did he dip out to during the battle? If taking someone's soul pushes the soul out into the ether or destroys it.... ?????? That makes no sense or maybe I skipped a line or two on accident that explained it, but otherwise things were fine.

Too short! Ending was a little abrupt.

This was a fast paced series which I would have liked a lot more if I was actually a part of the target audience. Despite that, it was a delight as is expected when it comes to Cassandra Clare!
