This was the last book in the magisterium series and it's weird that it's over! I really liked living in this world and seeing the characters grow!
The ending was also really nice.
I suspected pretty quickly what would happen and I'm glad I was right. Although there are also a few things I did not expect at all!
Definitely a fun series especially if you like Harry Potter!

This was the last and 5th book in this exciting middle grade series. This story has been a fun one to follow and I really enjoyed finally knowing how it ends. This review may have some spoilers if you haven’t read the first 4 books, but none for the 5th book itself.
Callum Hunt is a not so ordinary mage, who just happens to have the memories (and maybe soul) of one very evil wizard trapped inside him. As do all mages that pass the entrance exam, he goes to the Magisterium and the books follow him on his (mis)adventures with his classmates. Struggling with being an Evil Overlord or not, Callum has come a long way over these 5 books. I find him and his classmates very realistic and relatable characters, not to mention fun to hang around. Very good read!
