Picture an 8 year old discovering the word villain and plot twist and just going crazy with them. That's the summary.

Anyways, this book was, well, a book. Nothing out of this world, the plot twists are kind of expected, and the main character is super dumb if you ask me, like there’s a killer out there and her solution is to start drinking and play detective instead of being super alert and focused, how are we supposed to believe that. Also, the ending felt soooo rushed, no explaining whatsoever of some MAYOR plot holes, and just messy, so messy. The relationship with her mother was all of the sudden good and normal, and, what could be argued as being a life-ending-tragedy, just turned her life around and made everything perfect?!

It took me ageeees to finish this book, or at least it felt like it. I was truly giving it the benefit of the doubt and like midway it was kind of interesting, and yeah the mystery has its plot twists, but I just couldn’t find myself invested in it. This was just not for me.
