I really loved this book and the descriptions and words about bisexuality. Thank you, CLo for showing people what being Bi is and should be. Tanner and Sebastian’s story was so lovely and heartbreaking and real. Well, real in very important aspects to get over the parts I didn’t find as realistic. All in all, I’m really glad this book exists.
Spending the majority of my life in Utah, I've seen this story play out in many ways. I loved this book so much. I hated how much I knew this book.
Love is love.

4.5 stars!
I loved this book. I loved Tanner and Sebastian (even though some of his choices bugged the hell out of me, they were understandable.) I loved the way the authors tackled sexuality and faith.
I loved the true portrayal of a bisexual character.
I loved that the authors dispelled stereotypes of LDS, Mormons.
I loved Tanner's supportive family, and most of the time loved his best friend Autumn.
And I especially loved the amazing, fluffy, love story that emerged between Sebastian and Tanner.
I really need to remember how much I love adorable YA contemporaries.
Read this beautiful book.

Historia tienucha y gay *o*.Me encantó el prota porque últimamente las editoriales obligan a los autores a cambiar cosas para que sus personajes sean más estúpidos xD
I laughed, I cringed, I cried! This book had me going through so many emotions. The author did an amazing job describing the characters and their personal turmoil.
Utterly beautiful and painful. I'm so thankful for the Sebastian chapters because, as someone who related hugely to him and his family situation, I thought they were a necessary window into his mind and his actions. This book takes extremely complex topics like identity, religion, family, acceptance, and delivers them in an impressively nuanced way while remaining engaging and pacy throughout.
It's another one of those books I think I'd find it hard to re-read, because some of the details like Sebastian's forced stoicism - to the point where he's essentially disconnected from his own wants and desires - plus the emotional abuse he suffers all just got a bit too much to handle at times. I feel like Sebastian is a marmite character because if you don't understand how that feels, if you haven't grown up being shaped by it, it doesn't make sense to act that way, and the damage it's doing is obvious. But I thought it was an authentic and brave portrayal of a complex character that didn't shy away from necessary events and choices, no mattter how difficult they must have been to write.

Highly recommend. Perhaps I'll come back to say more once I've processed this more fully. ♥️♥️♥️
