I will say I am loving this series. I enjoyed the way the childhood friends to lovers played out. They had sweet and fun banter. I loved the family in this series. I like how all the brothers come together.

i LOVE friends to lovers but this one just didn't hit... book 1 was definitely better. the suspense part of this book kept dragging on and i just didn't care that much (at one point i literally thought "if this was suits they'd be done with this so quickly") also, the romance again because with the plot it didn't really develop enough for me to really root for them. anyways, i'm onto book 4 and skipping 3 bc i feel like i'm a lot more interested in aspen and roan's story.

This poor family needs some intensive trauma counseling. And there are still 3 books left?!
