“Even when you were gone, the echoes of you still lived inside me, and I would play them over and over in my mind just so I wouldn’t lose the sound.
I’ve loved you in every incarnation, and that will never end.”

once again catherine has ripped my heart out and put it back together. i am completely and utterly obsessed with maddie and nash. echoes of you is a masterpiece and it makes so much sense bc so is wishers of you. this series is the first i’ve read from catherine and i was lucky enough to get an arc of both and immediately fell in love. catherine is the only author who has gotten me to like romantic suspense and i eat it up every single time. nash is the standard. he is everything and way more. maddie is such a woman. my god has she been through so much and she deserves every bit of goodness. she is such a strong and inspiring character and i felt for her so much. nash and maddie are definitely favorites and i was so glad to see holt and wren along with the rest of the crew in this book. everyone is so supporting and loving and i wish i could just live in this series and be adopted into their family because it is everything.

thank you so so much catherine for sending me an arc and becoming a new favorite author of mine. i will forever love these books and can’t wait for the rest of the lost and found series!!

“I’d love Nash Hartley for as long as I could remember. Cesar Ridge was just a place. But Nash would always be my home”.

📚 friends to lovers
📚 small town
📚 romantic suspense
📚 forced proximity
📚 dual POV

|Thoughts|
This was cute yet also interspersed with some anxiety inducing questions. This has just as much angst and suspense as the first book in the series.

“Because the truth was, I wanted Maddie more than my breath. But I wanted her safe and whole most of all”

Felt the chemistry between these two from the beginning. And the narcissistic ex added another hurdle to them confessing their true feelings for each other.

“You’re the best person I’ve ever known. The fact that he made you doubt that makes me want to gut him and do it slow”

Like that we also got some flashbacks to their relationship as kids.

“He’s wrong. I know you. Down to your soul. If you’ve forgotten who you are, ask me, and I’ll remind you”

Don’t mind friends to lovers but felt this one did it well. Really enjoyed watching them discover their mutual attraction to one another, even after all those years.

“I’ve loved you every day I’ve known uoh. No one has ever made me feel safer. More cared for. More myself.

Once again I do love a book with a good bunch of siblings (Bridgerton, The Edens, The Hathaways).

“What would you do without your interfering siblings?”
“Love a peaceful, relaxing life”
