This was very well drawn and it followed the story perfectly. Unlike most graphic novels where it doesn't follow the story from the book. But I loved it and the illustrations were beautiful.

Loved the art!

If I wasn’t reading this series to connect with a girl at daycare, I probably wouldn’t be moving on to the next book, though it ends on a cliffhanger. Still, this was a good recap for me, and I hope that I will like the next book more!

This story is too complex to easily fit into a graphic format. I missed all of the tiny details that helped set context and atmosphere...that said, I LOVED how Jacob's 'real' world was all black-and-white. His world in the loop was colored in mute tones, but that is where his life came into focus and that is where he belongs. We could see it before he did.

Loved the tiny peek at the next book. Waiting patiently for January. This was a good way to get up to speed.

3 Stars

It's like a to the point, amazingly illustrated version of the novel. The story was still good, some of the amazing writing was taken out, but what took its place was amazing illustrations, which I can't really complain about because the illustrations were really really amazing, and brought the story to life. The illustrator manage to capture the story, not just in the portrayals of the characters, but in the color pallet she/he have chosen for the illustrations. It's really amazing, and yes, you do yourself a disservice if you don't read the book first.

JUST. LIKE. THE BOOK!!! :D

All I can say is that the monsters are creepy as hell in these drawings.

Liked it less than the actual book.

Such an amazing graphic novel adaptation of [b:Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children|9460487|Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, #1)|Ransom Riggs|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1472782916s/9460487.jpg|14345371], although it sucked that they left out the flashlight fish scene! That was one of my favourite parts... Still, beautiful illustrations!
