Obviously I loved this just as much as the full novel. The illustrations fit perfectly with the story. I loved the use of color sporadically throughout, and how it emphasized the mood of the scene.

It did leave out minor plot points and details that would have just made it too long, so that was alright.
Something I appreciated was the drawing of the hollowgast, because when I read the story I didn't really understand or have a vision of what they looked like. Also it was really fun to see how the characters were drawn compared to how I saw them in my head.

The integration of the creepy, original pictures was done pretty well too. Definitely stays true to the book.

A great, quick, fun, beautiful read to go along with the book series. I am excited to get the "Hollow City" version!

i think should've read the actual book before i've read this one.... hmm..

Ok so recently I decided I wanted to read hollow city cause I did want to know what happened next. Well to do that I had to reread the first book but I didn't want to. So, I read this graphic novel. Now, knowing how I felt about the book I didn't think this would be too good. However, I really enjoyed it. I think now that I realize it's a slower book I can enjoy it more. I'm really excited to read hollow city really soon.

Ok, so it was alright. Filmed a review. It will go up eventually.

I don't have the attention span for novels right now - thank God for graphic adaptations!

only a 4/5 because i’ve read the actual novel and there’s so much emotion lost due to the ability to not show inner thoughts through drawings.

Great for a graphic novel. It keeps the essence of the original story and adds the picture to the story. A must read for fans of the series.
