Is this a literally masterpiece? No.
Is it original? No, it sounds like a construction ofany other romantasies.
Does Lor sound like a whiney child at times? Yes.

But it was FUN to listen to, the plot progresses nicely, the pace is fast, new characters are introduced (hello, Gabriel), and the world building continues.
The Audio is extremely good, and the addition of Shane East contributes a lot to this already very good cast.

Oh my goodness!!!!!! I love a good travel on a journey. These characters sure are something and

I loved getting to hear Gabriel’s POV (I did initially think it would be Atlas).

. The flashbacks to the first rulers of Ourelos was so interesting too. I think that’s such a unique twist. Also watching the MCs figure out the things after we’ve already found them out is always fun. I was SCREAMING about the

mate bond

. ALSO THAT ENDING??? WTF. I am so excited for the last book but I’m so sad to see these people go.

(I do have a prediction that the person to replace Zara is going to be Willow. That way they each have kingdoms.) I am so rooting for Gabriel to finally be free and get to live how he wants to. I know there’s no way Nadir and Lor will kept apart for too long either, I’m rooting for them forever.
