What is that cliffhanger? I’m so glad I can start the next one immediately!

I couldn’t put this town, I devoured it within just a few days. I loved learning more about the magic system and the politics.

The mate bond between Lor and Nadir

actually made my heart go a bit squishy (I don’t like the nickname lightning but tho) even though one could see this coming from MILES away.
I was SO exited to be back with Gabriel, he’s actually one of my fav characters (probably just because he’s so grumpy) and I’m glad that most of the characters I didn’t like in the last books I was right not to like.

Anyway, I’m starting the next one asap!

It felt very long. The romance felt drug out and yet also rushed. The cheesy dialog once they got together was kinda cringe. Overall it was fine, but nothing special
