I would have given this book five stars, but I'm quite pedantic about the English language. If you're a writer, using the language as a tool, you should be able to use it properly. There is no such thing as "a millennia", for example, but there are others as well. No mention of a proof-reader in the acknowledgements, for some reason, which might not be a coincidence.

I couldn't get into the language of how it was written, and it felt very much like world building was being attempted but overall failed at. the same characters and areas were described repeatedly. Overall felt like a middle schooler writing their first book and given a word goal
