3.75/5⭐️ 3.5/5

i loved Miller’s obsession, Alec’s sweetness and Silvers dominance. The book wasn’t just about sex it was fun and entertaining.

I did not think I would love this book as much as I love Junes story. Les Miller and Silver are all amazing men in their own way. I love how these men melt in a puddle for her. Cora , now knows she isn’t a supporting actress. She is the lead BABY!!!! Loved it so much

My favorite books are primarily why choose and mafia, so of course I had to give this one a chance. I did read the previous two books untamed vixen and villain era and absolutely loved them. It has been quite a while since I’ve read them though, so I may have to go back and re-read.

Well this book now deals with Cora who is June’s best friend from the previous books, and the three very different men she falls in love with. Of course her father gets in trouble with the mafia and ends up selling his daughter and the events from there are a wild rollercoaster.

I did finish the book, I just think it was a bit too long with a lot of inner dialogue for each of the characters. I get like some inner dialogue but when it’s about the same things every time and just goes on forever, it just made me skim over most of the book. I did enjoy Cora getting to know Alec, Silver and Miller. Though I felt like I didn’t get to know them enough. Though it was a long book.

There is only so much I can take of “I don’t want to ask anyone for help because I don’t want to put them in danger”. It’s just overdone. It maybe she told her friends that are also in the same Mafia world and could have helped her a lot sooner.

I really had high hopes for this book, but in the end it just fell flat to me.

I don’t even know what to say, I’m so blown away by this book and Luna’s writing. The depth these characters had and how much I grew to love every one of the main characters is an understatement. I never thought I would love a character more than June but Cora is an amazing bad*ss FMC! She never gave up the whole book and showed no limits to what she could accomplish. And her men?! I swooned so hard for them and their individual personalities. Silver rains supreme in my mind, but I wouldn’t mind taking an Alec, and even Miller with all his read flags!

Favorite quote: “I should probably see all this as blaring red flags, but if I’m being honest, red has always been my favorite color.”

Came for the tvp. Suffered through insta-love and a FMC who constantly put herself and others in danger for no reason. Rolled my eyes at the shortest spice scenes in existence. 500 pages is a lot for such a shallow plot.

Oh the premise of this one is just SO bad but I love Luna Pierce books so I finished it.

If you have read villain era or untamed vixen this is the third book in that series. Yes, you need to read those before this one in order to understand it. Plus, those are better books.

This book follows Cora. The bestie character from untamed vixen.

Cora is put in the most stupidly insane predicament because of her dumb ass father. As she figures out how to fix her father’s mistake she meets (or remeets) three guys that eventually become part of her harem.

Here are my problems with this book:
(1) the spicy scenes are not great, awkward, randomly timed, and cringey.
(2) the premise is absolutely stupid. We are supposed think this villain is untouchable but no reason is given and in the end they do the most logical thing to end the threat. Like something they could have done in chapter one.
(3) Cora gets really angry at her best friend for no real reason. Oh my god, you tried to protect me from the mafia. You evil evil person. Never speak to me again.
(4) The guys don’t really like get to know each other or understand each other. It was like they just shrugged their shoulders and decided to murder people for her together. Boom.
(5) The ending was only about TVP not really how they go out of the drama that had been set up. The author posts a lot about TVP so it’s not shocking that this was a part of the book but to make an awkward TVP scene the end was again cringy.

>> Obsessed MMC
>> Will die for her
>> Betrayal
Plot:
Our FMC Cora tries to be bubbly and happy go lucky, it’s easier to pretend all is ok when your life is crumbling around you. When she inadvertently gets used as payment to cover her dad’s debts with a ruthless mafia loan shark she can’t talk to anyone. Her mother is MIA and her best friend who she knows is involved in the world somehow won’t talk to her and keeps hiding so how can she open up.

We have 3x MMC’s in this book. Miller and Alec, who have both been warned off Cora by her best friends bf’s and Silver who’s the clean up guy and never expected one of the jobs he turned up to clean to be caused by the innocent looking Cora.

All 3 know Cora is struggling and want to help in their own way but she’s too terrified of what will happen to them if anyone finds out the mess her father has got her into

Thoughts: I thought this book was above average, and I'm not sure why I didn't like it more. I have read other RH books, however, I just feel like the 3 MMC's could've had more chemistry with each other and could've used M/M scenes.
