2.5 stars but rounded down because I was being kind.

When I found this book on Netgalley and got the approval to read it, I was really excited and happy.
Now after reading it... I wasn't that happy anymore.

Unfortunately, this was not what I expected. It was promised a feminist serial killer story but I got a remixed version of Colleen Hoover's thrillers and the Mindf*ck series. Admittedly, a better remix in my vision.

Saffy, our lady killer of bad men, felt like a secondary character, and honestly... she sounded like what non feminists think we feminists talk and act like.

I did appreciate some ideas and the narrator, Nathalie Buscombe, did a great job.

I enjoyed reading this, but ultimately I wanted more. The premise is SO good, the characters are fun and funny and the plot was the good kind of reality-suspending OTT, however, there wasn't as much action as I would have liked.

I really ate this book up, I loved Saffy as a character and honestly good for her for doing what she does

2.5-3⭐️???
I love the cover!!! The men heads in a martini glass is iconic. And the premise being a female serial killer who kills bad men had me so interested so I immediately requested this audiobook from NetGalley. It started interesting and had me hooked. The middle fell very flat and was honestly a little boring.
The characters were bland so I didn’t care about them and the 60% POV from John who she has an obsessive crush on. I wanted more of HER!
The ending picked up and had me hooked again.
Overall, this was okay. I was hoping for more going in and may have DNFd this had I not been cleaning and doing yard work all day listening.
Anyways, thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

A story about a femal serial killer that is mostly out of the perspective of a man, was very disappointed about the fact that important stuff like how she gets rid of bodies, or finds people ect just gets skipped over

Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I read this book so fast - it was so funny, and wild. The twists were perfect, i literally gasped at some of them. Saffy is so perfectly sarcastic, and her narration reminded me of Dexter Morgan (of Dexter). I would love a sequel, simply because I adored both narrators, but this novel is incredibly solid on its own.
