I can not believe that this series is over. Done. Complete. No more reading in Rose Hathaway's point of view. No more. I have no words after reading this.

all of the teenaged fun died out in this book. they should have hired me to close out the series. i would have added more steamy romance scenes and less moral agonizing.
Rose is not the murderer as us Vampire Academy readers all knew (Tasha's betrayal was not expected). Her escape was written vividly and the journey that ensued was emotional and life changing. I am happy Rose grew up and continued to put others before herself. Rose is a strong female character and I enjoyed not seeing her give up even though many obstacles were thrown in her path. I loved the plot twists and was cheering when Lissa was crowned queen. I wanted to whoop and cry when Dimitri and Rose finally had their long awaited love story rekindled. I am disappointed Adrian did not receive a happy ending, but am hoping he will in the spin off series. I am very sad Rose and Dimitri's story will not go on, but at least the readers were given their idealistic ending.
