My heart break with Adrian's

Actually 4.5 stars. I used this book for the popsugar challenge, as the book you own but have never read. I have no idea why I waited so long to finish this series off. I absolutely loved this one. Rose finally coming to her senses and Dimitri...just Dimitri. that plot twist was fantastic too. "I don't know but I think it's going to be good." FANTASTIC BOOK!

vau
kinda.. ettenähtav aga ülimalt entertaining

The end of this story was as exciting and page turning as all the others, but I am a bit ambivalent too. I felt like the ending was unfinished. I wanted to feel like I knew the end of their story or at least where their futures were heading. But instead it was like it ended in the middle of the day with no conclusion. I was especially upset about Adrian. He deserved more to his story ending. I understand there is a series that spun off of this with other characters and some people may have a story continuation, but the lackluster ending of this series was a bit of a let down. All the characters that we came to love was missing closure; Christian, Eddie, Mikhail, Sonya, Robert. And nobody even spoke of Victor again.

Regardless, I still liked how this mystery was played out and solved and the characters came through the darkness to see the light. The shock at the end was a bit sad but an awesome twist. I also think that Lissa lost a bit of who she is when it comes to Jill. She is more understanding than what was portrayed at the end. But I liked where she ended up.

All in all Rose and Dimitri made it worth it.

Well, the first three books in this series were good. They were fun, and had interesting characters, and even though some bits were a stretch, I enjoyed them. However, from the 4th book on, the books just got worse. And the ending of the entire series? What just happened?! I mean, we get a rant from Adrian, rightfully so, and then don't get any answers from them? Whatever actually happened to Sydney? How does Tasha get punished? Does Dimitri's family ever get to know he's really alive? What happens with Lissa and her new sister? Do they become friends, is there a spin-off series with her? WTF just happened?!

I'm a hopeless romantic - seriously, I love a love story. But at the price of what? Adrian was such a terrific character and I really wanted him to get a better ending, or at least some sort of closure.

This series had potential, but it went downhill. Sigh. Oh well.

I can't believe I finally finished this series! It feels like a very long journey even though in all actuality I sped through these books so quickly- I couldn't have done it without the crazy and action-packed world that circled Rose and Lissa.

I think this was a great ending to the series. It covered a lot of questions, maybe not in the most forward way as there were some loose endings, but there was always hope and love- two things that can make anything happen. Cheesy, I know but there are TOO many feels right now. All of these characters will always stay with me, I'm just sad I won't be able to keep reading through Rose's narrative...and get more of Dimitri. It's kinda crazy to look back and realize that for a series I really didn't start out on a good foot with, I easily got wrapped in. It got to me (if you couldn't tell by my constant updating on here). Here's till next time!
