I’m a big fan of Anthony Horowitz’s books, and this one did not disappoint. This book borrows some of its style from classic whodunnits we all know, but Horowitz adds his customary narrative curveball (in this case, a book within the book). I love these twists because they really make you feel immersed in the story and figuring out what happened. If you like murder mysteries that are more fun and clever than they are dark, you’ll love this book!

Marvelous murder mystery set within a murder mystery.  I had a little trouble getting back into the present day story after the inserted novel finished, but I loved how all the clues fell into place at the end.  And the lions!  Genius.
