This is the final book in the Nash Brothers series and I am so sad to see this series go! But ending with Miller and Sophie felt so right!
Miller finally shoots his shot with his best friend and wins the girl!! I adored these two!! There was such an ease to their relationship that it was so seamless going from friends to lovers. Miller has been in love with Sophie since he was 14 years old but was quickly friend zoned. Now at thirty he sees his chance to make his feelings know and takes it!! Miller was so dang cute!! He was Sophie's biggest fan and supported her with her writing! They were fun and playful and the chemistry!! THE CHEMISTRY!!! It was so dang good!! I think this is Lisa's spiciest book yet! I loved getting updates on all the other Nash brothers. A fun and sweet best friends to lovers romance!!

I have really enjoyed reading this story that felt like it went really quick from beginning until end as I was just loving the relationship between Miller and Sophie but also the feel around it. Before I knew it, I was a few chapters in and just enjoyed their chemistry and seeing how the story was progressing. A best friends to lovers romance story that definitely pulled on all of your heartstrings and got you hoping for that happy ending. Can't wait to see what's next in store in this series.
As Sophie's world is crashing down around her, she calls the one person that she knows is always there for her. As her best friend Miller comes to her, he makes her a suggestion she can't refuse and one thing leads to another. Both have known each other since they were teenagers and it seems that there's always been something that was simmering between them. Now they are both single, their lives are changing and maybe they will finally admit that there's more than friendship. Will it all work out in the end?...

I have just adored this series, each book has had a great couple and memorable stories. As we are now at book five in the Nash/Banks brothers' story, I did not expect Miller to be my favorite. Miller and Sophie were meant to be, but the timing was not right, until her ex forced it.
Sophie breaks up with her ex; the relationship is not going anywhere, and in his revenge, he exposes her side hustle. Not sure what to do, Sophie contacts Miller, he comes to her rescue, and puts a story in motion for their future.
Ms. Suzanne gives us a hard to put down story with great characters, a friends to lovers storyline that is easy to get lost in. I am excited to see where we go next.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Audiobook Review: Resisting the Running Back by Lisa Suzanne,
Narrated by Tor Thom & Kelsey Navarro Foster
Resisting the Running Back has love written all over it. From sweet and funny to romantically, tempting, Suzanne gives the heart what it longs for. Miller and Sophie are adorably, clueless. A conveniently, inconvenient match of humor and hijinx, spells trouble for an enduring friendship that never saw it coming. A heartbreaker brought to life with endearing accuracy by a talented author and irresistible narrators. Thom and Foster are a joy to listen to.

MILLER BANKS AND SOPHIE SUMMERS STORY.
Miller Banks 🏈
the pro baller who has been in love with his best friend when they were 14 years old has finally found a way to making his move out of the friend zone.
But there’s so many things that could go Erin and losing his Best friend is not one of them.
Sophie Summers 📚
The middle school teacher whose world imploded overnight reached out to the one person who is always there for her Mill-B.
He is the only one who can get her through this. But ending up being engaged, living together and starting having feelings wasn’t how she thought they would end up.
An unexpected accident happened… Miller and Sophie happy bubble literally popped… but one thing I loved about this couple is that they don’t let any problem they face stew for long.. or so I thought as Sophie struggles with her new life with Miller, and the secret she holds from a guy she never thought she could hide anything from… and trust me this one is going to be huge, while Miller also have struggles of his own involving his new relationship and his career.
It was completely new territory for Miller and Sophie both as they navigate through their fake relationship, but if you know Lisa Suzanne then you know this book is filled with all sorts of shenanigans, secrets, twists and for me the infuriating FMC with all kinds of crazy stuff floating in their heads. But to be honest Sophie wasn’t all that bad.. and her and Miller ended up with more than they bargin for!
🎧📚🎧 Kelsey NavarroFoster and Tor Thom were perfectly cast to bring these characters to life, they have been consistent with delivering Miller and Sophie Characters to life.
Their portrayal of each character has been excellent, as Kelsey NavarroFoster ace it as Sophie, portraying every aspect of her personality and character.
While Tor Tom did the same as Miller and was equally amazing, by showcasing the characters personality and demeanor to perfection. Especially the scene where a secret was revealed about Missy Nash!
Tor delivery was jaw droopingly hilarious!
Their tone and pacing was just right for the story while capturing all the characters’ emotions with great detail. These two made a fabulous team, they complemented each other with an entertaining performance that was so good I only wish it was Duet style. ( where female characters are voice by female and male by male)
But any way,
Absolutely recommend listening to this one!
Be sure to add this to the rest of your collection as we get to see listen more of the Nash’s and the Banks brothers who complete their family!

Best friends make the best loves. Miller & Sophie have been friends since high school. She was oblivious to his true feelings for her but they were destined for more than just the friend zone. It was meant to be - eventually.
I really liked this story. I like this whole series. I was only bothered by the little to no communication towards the end. It drove me nuts and not in a good way. But it's okay, it came together in the end.
It was a good end to the Nash & Banks brothers series. Don't forget to download the bonus epilogue!

Oh My Goodness!! Miller Banks is one HOT and super sweet guy with the biggest heart-of-gold! He will and does drop everything anytime that his best friend since he was 14, Sophie Summers, calls for help. That is exactly what she does on the night of Miller and his twin Tanner’s 30th birthday party in Vegas. Thanks to Sophie’s ridiculous ex, Miller and Sophie end up in a fake engagement and Sophie moves to San Diego. I didn’t think I could be surprised with the events in Resisting the Running Back but I was proved wrong. There are several surprises. You do get to see all of the Nash brothers multiple times throughout this final book of the series. Both Miller and Sophie do go through quite a bit of self-reflection and act like people who need to get their life in order before they lose the best thing that has ever been a part of their lives. Will Miller finally prove to Sophie that he is not only her best friend but the love of her life? You’ll have to read or listen to Resisting the Running Back by Lisa Suzanne. This is the last Nash-Banks brother to get his story and I highly recommend you complete or start the series, it’s that good!!

Thanks to Valentines PR for selecting me for this ARC. And a HUGE!!! thank you to the wonderful author for writing this amazing book. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤
Miller and Sophie.
If anybody knows me, they know I love me some Nash Brothers and this being the last of their books, I'm not crying you are! Okay Okay I'm actually really sad and may have shed a few tears, ESPECIALLY after reading the last word of the book. My Lisa Suzanne journey started with one Mr. Lincoln Nash and Mrs. Jolene Nash so when I say I LOVE the Nash Brothers, I mean I. FREAKING. LOVE. THE. NASH. BROTHERS.
So when it came to Miller, it was no different. He might not have been a Eddie and Missy child BUT he's still a Nash and still as amazing as his brothers. I loved he and Sophie's friendship and how it turned romantic. I love how they supported each other through EVERYTHING and how no matter what he always showed up for each other. She goes through a terrible breakup; and the ex was disgusting, didn't like him one bit, and Miller shows up for her. They go through their entire friendship and fake relationship having such STRONG feelings for each other and it always seemed like bad timing with them. But they were willing to be by each others side even when in different relationships and when they were apart. I loved when things started to heat up and you could see when things started to fall in place and then BOOM! the love volcano erupted and I was here for it. The entire cruise was FANTASTIC because on that cruise we learnt alot, we got drama, we got a Missy scene that I was OBSESSED with and I have to say before reading this book, I was hoping to actually see that so I'm happy Lisa did that for her because she DESERVES it. I loved how we got to see kind of a breakdown between Miller and Sophie but at the same time they think about each other along the way. Miller made up for that and they both reassured each other. I was obsessed with them. Oh and let's not ever forget that Sophie is a book girlie because she was an author herself and she always said how Miller was her PERFECT book boyfriend and I have to freaking agree.
Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. I mean that's no surprise but I don't just give the book a five star because I love the Nash Brothers but because the book is just that incredible and so well written. And can we talk about how close Sophie got to Jolene, Ava, Grace, Desi and Cassie? It was just amazing to see because she really didn't have anybody in her corner so seeing them being there for her was beautiful. And then the cameos from the brothers because HELLO Spencer I see you and I just need you now lol. I'm sorry about that he's my fave and I cant get over him lol. But anyway, I loved seeing the brothers and the advice they gave Miller and I loved seeing how close they got in just a year and a half. Plus, Miller and Tanner were a sight to see because they really did have that bond. Even though they didn't grow up around the other brothers, they still had each other and they had amazing parents. I didn't like seeing Miller struggle with possibly turning out like Eddie but Tanner was there to reassure him and NONE of those brothers would ever turn out to be like Eddie. He wasn't the worse parent in the world but he wasn't great either but those Nash Brothers grew up with strong moms and a great father figure so they would be okay. I really enjoyed reading Miller and Sophie's story because friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes so this was a great ending to the series. In the end, Sophie couldn't resist the running back and Miller couldn't resist his bestfriend who he's been inlove with since he was fourteen.
We started this entire Nash Brothers journey with friends to lovers to enemies to friends to lovers again and now we're ending with friends to lovers. It's been a FABULOUS journey with these brothers. *chefs kiss* ALL AROUND. I will miss them but I know that we'll possibly see Spencer, Tanner and Miller a bit because the next series will have a teammate and that'll be very interesting, I can't wait for that.
So long Nash Brothers, you will FOREVER have a piece of my heart. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
