so slow. i really wish i could enjoy the first 400 pages of the book more bc it was so hard for me to pick up on the message; only near the end i started realizing how good of a book this is.

I read Part 1 and I hate it. It just reads too much like a dream - so much like a dream that I just feel unnerved and while I assume it was on purpose, there wasn't enough payoff to keep going. I'll read it eventually, but will have to be in the right headspace to tackle.
This novel is so Kafkaesque, briliant! Recommend to someone who can appreciate this kind of never quite getting there, the novel holds you in suspense. Anyone who wants resolutions, structure and sense, do not read!
