Unsure if I’m biased since I’ve been a fan of Hazel’s for quite a long time and would have immediately read anything she ever writes but Better By Far holds all of the things I have loved about Hayes’ content. It’s got dry, Irish humor, heartbreak, and the biggest thing of all: love. Love seeps from each sentence whether from Kate’s family or friends or Finn or Kate herself. And I find that really truly beautiful. Loved this.

A little bit of a drag at first, but very complex and almost haunting. Captures the feelings of grief quite well

Hazel Hayes just broke my heart for the second time. The narration was beautiful.

Such a good depiction of grief, wow. Written in such a poetic way and the audiobook being read by Hazel really helped to connect me into the world and characters she created.

The end made the book for me. It really wrapped everything up very well. Not the book I thought I was getting, but the book that I enjoyed in the end.
Good insights on art and grief. Not necessarily related, but they could be.
