Buckle in, because this one is a wild ride! Set in the world of the Cross Brothers, this book follows Declan, the owner of The Club and Braelynn, a waitress at the club. Their relationship builds fast, this book is steamy, spicy and oh so good. I have never blushed so many times as when I was reading this book. The wine scene? Oh my gosh it was amazing. There are BDSM elements in this book and it is dark romance, ending in a cliffhanger. Willow knocked this book out of the park and I can’t wait for book 2.

Love being back in the Merciless world again! Declan is all kinds of yummy and so gritty. Braelynn is unsure of herself and her life choices, but once Declan has his eye on her…*sigh* This book goes hard and fast and I loved every minute of it, but that cliffie was not where I wanted it to end. Great book, and if you have not read the Merciless series you don’t necessarily need to in order to read this one but I recommend it. 4.5/stars & 3.5/spice
This book was just amazing and yes the spice was very very good. There was instant lust and I like that more than instant love. I love the way he comforts her, and the softness of him. It was just the perfect amount of darkness and sweetness. Really brought me out of my book slump. The true sign of romance is murder right? I don’t want to give to much away but just wow. I need the next one! Amazing! Declan and Braelynn have things that need to deal with for sure but this book was amazing! The cliffhanger really got me
Declan and Brealynn were amazing!
Their connection is undeniable. You could try to cut it with a knife because it's that thick! Declan is a Cross brother and his story is part of the Merciless Universe written by W. Winters.
Declan and Braelynn already knew each other from years ago before he became the man he is now. Declan makes Braelynn a proposal after giving her a completely different position at The Club. She, of course, accepts this indecent proposal.
As they continue to allow themselves the connection they have, Braelynn begins to learn what the Cross brothers are into. Declan is subject to find out who may be infiltrated in the club. Though he wasn't as dark as I thought he'd be (maybe I'm in too deep in dark romance, idk), but he is smoking hot. Their scenes are amazingly written, as can be expected by Mrs. Winters. She never fails to make me blush and wish her characters were real.
There was a scene that make me hurt for Braelynn. She struggled through a punishment. Her mind took her into dark thoughts. The aftercare after a scene is so important. She didn't have it. My heart ached for her.

And also Declan?! He’s perfection. I haven’t read any other cross brother book but if they’re anything like him then count me in im in love.
