ARC REVIEW
This is one of those books that’s so addicting. You start it before bed and then can’t put it down because you wanna see what happens. I absolutely am obsessed with those types of books. And also Declan?! He’s perfection. I haven’t read any other cross brother book but if they’re anything like him then count me in im in love.
And dear author… I am waiting for book 2… I need it. ASAP
quick, fun, STEAMY, mafia read!

Right from the prologue, it’s clear that this is going to be an intense, dark, and very steamy story. It definitely doesn’t disappoint. When Braelynn gets a job at The Club through her friend, she never thought she’d come face to face with a man that she knew (of) in high school, and who she still finds incredibly intriguing and enticing. And Declan never expected that the newest waitress in his club would be a girl that quietly grabbed his attention in high school, and he now finds incredibly attractive in every way possible. But there’s a catch, there’s a snitch inside Declan’s world, and Braelynn’s sudden appearance and connection to one of the possible suspects puts him on edge as to her motives. Keep your friends close, but keep your potential enemies closer - especially when you want to ravage every inch of their body, right?
The chemistry is highly charged, culminating in explosive passion, with some light dom/sub notes. I say light because, he definitely has a dom vibe, but she is essentially an innocent in that regard, although she’s definitely curious and intrigued by what he does to her. Their interactions are hot and steamy, to say the least.
The Cross family dynamic plays a sizable role in Declan’s life. It’s a driving force behind this story, because his need and desire to protect his family are essential in his motivations. He’s entranced by Braelynn, but if she’s involved with any of the nefarious activities he’s investigating, he won’t hesitate to eliminate the problem. Meanwhile, Braelynn is just trying to maneuver her way through this new and different world she finds herself suddenly immersed in. This is the first book of a duet, so a bit of a cliffhanger was to be expected. However, that ending - holy cow. Their worlds have collided and exploded, and I’m so intrigued to so where this is going to go next!

Declan Cross has officially made his long awaited debut ....and it's brutal.
Willow has been determined to feed my obsession with the Merciless world and I love her for it. We never got to know much about baby boy Cross in the other stories but he's definitely not what you'd expect.
This is dark and filthy and intoxicating.
Be warned ...it does end on a cliffhanger but Willow always gives our hearts back to us after she's done playing with them.

I’m a sucker for a steamy prologue. Nothing snags my attention more in a romance novel than one that kicks off with an utterly sinful opening, and this book has one of the best I’ve ever read.
I read “Tease Me Once” all in one go, devouring page after page. If it were a physical copy, I could say, “I couldn’t put it down!”, but since I was reading my edition on my Kindle, I’ll simply have to say my screen didn’t go to sleep until I was done with the whole enchilada.
Okay, it’s not like this book offers up a new premise, or even a spin on a familiar premise; but, then again, it doesn’t need to. Why fix something that isn’t broken? Willow Winters writes excellent organized crime romance. She writes excellent BDSM romance. She writes excellent combos of the two. She’s done it before. She’s done it again. And I always love when clubs like The Club are used as fronts for organized crime operations in books. It’s a trope, but tropes are tropes for a reason: they work, and readers like me eat it up.
The Cross Family owns The Club, and Declan Cross runs it. He’s the baby of the family, and the only one left with enough free time to be the kind of night owl that works all night to run and maintain it and the business that comes through it.
Braelynn Lennox is starting her life over and her friend Scarlett has just helped her out by getting her a job at The Club. What Scarlett may not have known, however, is that Braelynn and Declan have met before… when they were just children and before the Cross Family became infamous for crime and money.
So, yeah. I enjoyed the heck out of this book. The spicy was spicy indeed, and the writing was top-notch. The thing was: it was predictable. I knew what was going on almost all the time, even though I could tell there was supposed to be suspense and intrigue. I called the ending early. So I enjoyed the book, and I loved the vibe, but some of the life got sucked out by knowing too much about it as I read.
Doesn’t mean I don’t want the next installment right this second, though.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
W. Winters has done it again...

I was NOT ready for Declan Cross... Move over Carter, Jase, Seth and Marcus. Declan is here and he's about to fuck shit up in the best way possible!
Declan and Braelynn relationship is intense, to say the least, it's off-the-charts HOT, and completely consuming. These two are a force to be reckoned with.
This is an incredible start to what I predict will be an amazing series for Declan and Braelynn. It was dark, gritty, all-consuming, addictive and SO DAMN HOT!
Settled in, this series is about to send us all on one hell of a ride!
Worthy of more than 5 Stars!

HOLY SHIT I LOVED THIS. My favorite part about this was the fact that even though Declan is the usual morally gray character he had his very sweet moments with Braelynn.
I cant think of anything else to say rn I just need to go read the second part now😩
