WOW WOW WOW this book was so dark and so good! Declan Cross was the perfect possessive, morally gray fictional man you can't help but love. Braelynn takes a job at The Club to try and get a fresh start after an abusive relationship but she's quickly drawn into Declan and the Cross brothers world. Declan and Braelynn's relationship is superrrr spicy and has BDSM elements. And... THE ENDING!!
This book had me hooked from the very first page. This book was hot and steamy. Declan Cross is sinfully delicious. Braelynn has instant chemistry with Declan and is completely drawn to him. I loved the intensity of this book and can not wait for the rest of the series.
Tease Me Once is Willow Winters' latest work and book #1 in the Shame On You series. It's set in the Merciless World; this is Declan Cross' story. Prior reading of the Merciless World's books aren't required to read Tease Me Once. There are quite a few books that I have yet to read from this world. Declan Cross is Carter Cross' brother (Carter is the main character from the Merciless series) and he's is the youngest of the Cross brothers. It's a dark steamy read, navigated from Braelynn and Declan's perspectives. My gosh! The first few chapters! Especially, Declan's POV! It was intense and it sure did set out the tone of the book. I mean, shortly after their first encounter Declan did stake his claim; his possessiveness making an early appearance. But then again, Declan and Braelynn go way back; they met when they were young but didn't keep in touch.
Danger, power and control is written all over Declan; he's a mysterious and intimidating man. He's blunt, straight forward and knows what he wants, and he made it very clear that he truly wants her. Braelynn is aware that she should stay away, but she's utterly curious about him. And the tension between them! Phew... it was so heated, explosive and very spicy! Declan has dark, dirty and sinful fantasies, but so does Braelynn, and she's a temptation for him. If enjoy a read with heroes/morally grey characters with the vibes of 'touch or hurt her I'll k*ll you', then this book is for you! But the ending!!!! I was so consumed into the story that I didn't realize I reached the last few pages. I was lost for words for a few minutes... Ahh.... Need book #2 ASAP!! But the release date is so far away... oh well...

Omw I am dying this had me hooked and I just needed more. Spicy to the max but the story line had me captivated. Declan is my man for sure! Willow has once again got me hooked. There is a cliffhanger but we were warned so I am just gonna patiently wait for the second boom.

I got enveloped into the Merciless world so long ago, first with Daniel, then Carter and Jase. To say I have been waiting for Declan's story would be an understatement. The wait was so worth it and I can't wait to get more.
Declan is everything I thought he would be, and so much more. He's charming, dominant, possessive, filthy-mouthed and a little bit haunted. Braelynn is the girl who spoke kind words to him when he was a boy. Braelynn is a little naive, captivating, and looking for a fresh start on her own. These two are magnets toward one another way before either of them knew the other. What started out as a desire to be close to each other turned into an all-consuming need. But Declan is dealing with a snitch inside his club, and where events turn might leave you a little confused. I will state this... it ends in a CLIFFHANGER! Enjoy the drop and all the naughty that came with it!
I read this book directly after reading a hallmark-type book, too sweet with not enough grit and naughty play. This book was exactly what the "doctor" ordered.

4.5 stars So I've spent a great deal of hours already in The Merciless World but being back with another Cross brother, it feels like I've never left. I love it here. Declan and Braelynn have a bit of history so when they are reunited sparks fly and they never really stop. This was the perfect mix of suspense, plot and steam. Classic dark WW if you will. And honestly I was here for every minute. This is the start of a new series in the Merciless world, so take from that what you will, but needless to say that not only once again am I hooked and (not so) patiently waiting for book 2, but I really can't get enough of this. I received an advance copy of this from Valentine PR and my review is unbiased and my opinions are my own.

In fact, I haven’t even read the main books in the Merciless world yet, just another one of the spin-off series, and found this one super easy to get into and enjoy, despite that. So if you haven’t read any of the other stories following the Cross family, I wouldn’t worry too much about jumping in here! Actually, it made me want to read them even more, now!
