It's getting repetitive. They are all psychos, we get that.
I'm bored by them trying to imitate L with Near & Mello, and failing miserably.
The only interesting thing about this was the Shinigami's parts.
But I really hope the next volume isn't another convoluted loop-like scheme.

Though I do miss L, I still enjoy this series a lot. Either L or Light had to die at some point, though it might not be permanent, and it was obvious that Light was not the one who was going to die. I do enjoy the direction this is taking, because it's getting quite suspenseful and exciting. I look forward to seeing who might team up with each other, if they are even going to. I also hope that Miss will leave Light. I don't like their relationship at all.akookieforyou's review against another edition

I still miss L, but Near and Mello are really intelligent (obviously lol), and have drastically differing personalities, so it does manage to keep the story exciting.
