It made me smile, it made me cry, it made me angry. I love Nisha’s perspective and her world view.

“My body felt like it was melting. “Thank you,” I whispered. It was the answer I had always wanted to hear. It almost made everything we had been through worth it.” ❤️

This book for me fell more into the Very Important Book than a really good read. I enjoyed it, and was engaged, but the insight into Partition is greater than the quality of the book. If it were about an event that I had already read about, it would probably be three stars instead of four.
