Third times the charm with this author. I have read two of her other books (The Arrangement and The Roommate) and they left me feeling very meh afterwards. This one was much better than either of those. I actually liked the ending and didn’t see it coming at all.

Another great book by Modglin! The book took a twist that I did not see coming! I knew the mother-in-law was going to be a pain, but I did not expect her to be this evil! I was hooked from the prologue which gives you just a hint of the ending, but the ending was nothing like I expected! I just love how she has so many different twists in her books, it keeps me always guessing. Another great read and another recommendation!

Wasn’t expecting that twisted ending on this book! Definitely a great book
Why is there only five stars to give? This book blew my mind, it was simply one of the best psychological thrillers I’ve read this year. I loved the tension, the smart and complex characters and the not-too crazy twists that still gave me small shocks. The author writes well, not describing too much or too little. No annoying details that didn’t make sense, it all came together nicely.

This book was my first introduction to this author. A friend recommended her. I’m glad I decided to branch out and read one of her books. I will definitely be reading more from her.
As for the book, a little slow in the beginning but definitely kept my interest and ended with a twist!
