A chilling read that might have you re-examining your familial relationships. I can't imagine being in Loren's position, and I don't know how I'd handle it if I'm totally honest. If you've spent anytime perusing r/justnomil you might have an idea of the kind of ride you're in for when you start reading this. Overall it's well-written, but it doesn't flow as smoothly as I would've liked, and the lulls were something I really had to push through. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys family drama!

Becoming a great fan of Kiersten☺️ Loren is a single mother and “accidently” meets Jack. They fall in love and marry, they’re very happy and living a great life, until… well, until Coralee. Who is Coralee and what is she going to do? Great read!

So much anxiety throughout!! The heroine of this novel was such a pushover and I felt myself internally screaming at her after every decision. However, the twists at the end just kept going and left me with goosebumps. TW: food allergies

This is such a minor quibble, but the kid having a peanut allergy so severe she can’t be in the room with peanuts but never having to buy special “produced in a factory without nuts” food just bugged me. She probably couldn’t have eaten the ice cream that set the meet cute in motion!

This book gave me anxiety!!! This woman. I wanted to send this to my daughter in law and make sure she knows how good she has it. Lol. I took half a star because there is a twist I really didn't enjoy but it was only one of them. Still a quick, twisty book.
