Bit of a slow start while it builds the story, but from about 40% onwards, it flies..

Since I've had some time to sit with this book, I think I am going to bump it up to a full 4 stars. The way the author handles the "maybe having privilege and doing nothing while others are persecuted is it's own type of wrong" bit was masterful. This story isn't only Uncharles' quest for a purpose, it's also The Wonk's quest for meaning, and everyone's quest for truth. That and all the "going around in circles and never accomplishing anything" is a stark reminder of what is important in our lives, yet is incorrectly deemed unimportant by society (or vice-versa). To accomplish all this as still be as funny as this book is, is impressive.

It's way too long for the concept. I'm just not that interested
