I have a soft spot for roommate romances (room-ances, apparently), so I'm being generous here, but I have a negative reaction to romances that only describe their main characters (esp the guys) using pop culture and celebrity references. I can only have a main character described as Flynn Rider from Tangled so many times before my eye rolling makes the words start to swim on the page.
