Kudos to Chelsea Curto for self publishing 3 books in 2022 - definitely not a easy feat!

A very cute Christmas story featuring a grumpy x sunshine trope. I loved Theo and Bridget.

This book felt quite long at times at and some scenes felt a bit drawn out/unnecessary. It was a slow burn that took quite some time, and then we got to the steam - oh boy was there steam!

One of the better contemporary romances I've read! This slow burn, age gap, sunshine x grumpy book was full of tropes, but they didn't feel too cliche. 4.5/5 stars!!!

“I wouldn’t be opposed to getting on my knees for you, Boylston, if that’s where you want me.
But it wouldn’t just be to ask for forgiveness.”

DID NOT FINISH: 25%

There were too many issues for me to continue to invest in an almost 400-page book. The descriptions were over the top (I skimmed so much). The dialogue was clunky, awkward, and unrealistic. And I didn't understand the vibe the author was going for between the two main characters. It wasn't worth my time, unfortunately.

A solid 4.5 rating.

I really loved this little Christmas romp. I felt the relationship progressed a bit too fast in the beginning - not them getting together but just the blatant flirting felt out of nowhere. And then there were bits that dragged on a liiiitle too long. But overall another really solid read from this author.
