Loved reading this book - brought me all the feels reading about characters I love so much
I really enjoyed this and wished I read it before Lady Midnight but oh well.
Here's some of my thoughts on each individual story:
Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy: 3.5/5 stars. Good introduction to the novella and we got to meet the characters Simon would be interacting with!
The Lost Herondale: 3/5 stars. I wasn't really into this one but it was interesting and now I understand why Kit from TDA is a Herondale!
The Whitechapel Fiend: 5/5 stars! I love how we got some domestic Wessa and along with Cecily and Gabriel! This one got me into the novella!
Nothing but Shadows: 5/5 stars! This one was my favorite of all of them and it made me even more excited to read Chain of Gold!
The Evil We Love: 3/5 stars. It was interesting to see how the Circle worked and learn some more about Robert Lightwood.
Pale Kings and Princes: 3.5/5 stars. It was interesting to learn about how Helen is being treated by the Clave and how Isabelle and Simon finally starting dating or whatever.
Bitter of Tongue: 3/5 stars. We got to see how Mark was adjusting to the Wild Hunt and nothing really stood out to me other than Helen and Aline's wedding.
The Fiery Trial: 4/5 stars. I was excited to see my baby Jem and to learn that Clary and Simon are going to be parabatai . I also enjoyed seeing Julian's and Emma's parabatai ceromony!
Born to Endless Night: 5/5 stars! We got Malec content. Do I need to say more?
Angels Twice Descending: 5/5 stars! Great ending but really sad at the same time.
Overall, I really enjoyed this and will be finishing TDA after I finish Midnight Sun!
