Surprisingly more enjoyable than the other plays I've read. Maybe because this is a comedy and not a tragedy. 

I feel like Beatrice distinguishes herself a bit out of all Shakespearean women. She's smart, sarcastic and I mean even in this very short play she has more personality than certain others, I like her.

This is one of my first forays into Shakespeare and I have enjoyed myself. I loved the B&B storyline and was justly outraged at Hero's issues. Ultimately I think it is hard to get comply immersed in the story as there is much I missing due the language style.

Inspired by the movie featuring Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, and Michael Keaton, my nine-year old self became totally absorbed with this play.

Thirteen years later, its still entertains.
