Now I know so much about the history of Gucci now I can finally watch the movie. The book was written really good and the research the author did was a fantastic job.

I picked it up to learn about their style of running company, so I could do without all of the thriller fluff. I struggled to grasp and immerse into the story due to the author describing so many details about minor characters and completely disorganised chronology.

This might be a more harsh review than it deserves, but it was much more business-oriented book than I expected. It goes deep into the history of the business of Gucci which is interesting, but is very jargon heavy and doesn’t always make for the most exciting read. I also though the narrative was a bit all over the place

A forensic accounting history of the firm, a lot of lawsuits. And oh yeah, the murder of a Gucci, long after he is no longer part of the firm. A history of the business and family infighting.

I have never been so glad to be done with a book. I listened to the Audiobook. This is supposed to be a True Crime Book. It's NOT!!
Out of 14 hour audiobook, the murder is talked about for maybe an hour and a half. If you have never listened to me before, listen now! "SKIP this book".
