It’s a thick one! Gets kinda caught up in itself sometimes. Very informative and well researched albeit scientific feeling at times.

DID NOT FINISH: 10%

This book is so heavy and I'm just not in the right headspace to process the contents. Pushing through would be detrimental to my own mental health. I do believe this is an important issue and may try to go back to this in the future. I would rather that we lived in a world where things like this wasn't a reality.

I’m not going to say I enjoyed reading this book but I think it deals with issues we need to explore. Laura deals with the topic head on as she discusses the different groups that hate women, some of their supposed reasoning and the impacts that this has had on our society (mostly focused on the US & USA with some mentions of other countries like AUS).
It’s worth getting through to the end as Laura goes on to discuss some solutions in how to tackle ‘the manosphere’- spoiler it’s not an easy or simple fix.

Engaging read. Now I want to read more about critical maskulinity and raising feminist boys.
