informative medium-paced

Essential reading for everyone at this point. A detailed and carefully researched account of what is happening below the surface to men on the internet.  It's dark and horrifying, but it must be acknowledged at this point.

Terrifying, fascinating, heartbreaking and powerful. Politicians, students, parents and all of humankind needs to be aware of what's happening and how to stop the violence against women by knowing where the hate and radicalization stems from. We need to do more to stop the violence against our girls, educate and support healthy understandings of relationships to our boys, and this book is the heavy explanation of just that.

So many times where I had to put the book down and just sit with what I’ve learned. Very important.

This book was incredibly well written for all the contents were horrifying. While being incredibly hard to read, it's also extremely important.

I agree with nearly everything written in the book and I am sure she's absolutely correct. However, I found all the conclusions were based on anecdotal evidence with very few references. It annoyed me because I think the discussions around sexism, incels, underlying social issues re misogyny and the impact of these on both men and women, are really important. I wish that it had been written in a tighter way and provided appropriate references, source materials etc. To not have them is to immediately undermine the really important things the book is talking about.

Subject matter is definitely interesting and important, but I’m not sure exactly what it is, but the authors writing style just didn’t work for me.
